Who we are
This is Us - Mag, Mom (Helen) and Me (Chris). A Malaysian Peranakan Chinese family with three generations of entrepreneurs in construction and development; and running small businesses.
Our grandfathers were very successful developers in Malaysia back in the 1940’s and 50’s. Our late father followed his dad’s footsteps setting up his own construction business when he was in his 20’s. Our mom started getting involved in the family business and it flourished into a sustainable construction development company in Penang.
Mag and I are Gen X’ers growing up in shaky economic times in the 1980’s and 90’s. However, our resilience and hardwork allowed us the opportunity to own our first home when we were in our 20’s. The influence of long track records of family business gave us the drive and aspirations to become successful entrepreneurs and continue on with the family legacy. Hence, Lim Property Group was founded in 2023.
Lim Property Group is a family business built on trust and integrity as our cornerstone. We are Making a Difference in our local community by helping Millennials and Gen Z’ers to own their first home based on their budget and lifestyle. We have more than 55 years combined experience in running small businesses to having leadership roles in hotel chains and Banks, in Malaysia and Canada.
